LinkedIn for Your Business
LinkedIn now has over 4 million uses in the UK and over 60 million worldwide and is the premier professional social networking site and is a great tool for marketing your brand, products and services. If you are serious about digital marketing then both you and your company should have a profile on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is a great tool for building business relationships by joining industry or shared interest groups. There are thousands of groups for you to explore in LinkedIn and find one that suits your business interests. Recently LinkedIn has added a Facebook style ‘Like' button to its Groups service allowing members of this professional social networking site to show their appreciation of discussions or shared content and to get involved in the conversation.Content flagged with the ‘Like' button will then show in users' news feed and members who consistently use the function, and have a large number of followers will be flagged as ‘Top Influencers', giving their ‘Like' greater worth. LinkedIn has improved the look and feel of Groups conversations by adding the link-sharing feature, already applied to the homepage, within the Groups page. This feature will make it easier for the user to know about the professionals participating in a particular conversation, and will help them to browse through conversations, post comments and engage in these conversations.
